As you know, I have always received the top level mailer from the Palms.
I only play the $2 10/7 DB single lines when there are NO other promos going
on there, which is pretty rare. If there are drawings, or multipoints, or
almost anything else, I will play multiline. Since the coupon did NOT exclude
the 100% games, that made it even more attractive to play the $2 10/7s, and I
saw no need to stop as soon as I used the coupon. I find the game itself, plus
single points, to be "adequate," if not outstanding.
Granted, as a busy guy, your time is probably more valuable than mine is. I
can afford to "waste" it playing $2 single line if I want to, without any
downside for me. For a person such as yourself, with many demands on your time,
combining the use of the coupon and playing on less than 100% machines to
qualify for the mailer, the $2 5-play NSUDs was probably most efficient. For
someone who simply wants to use the coupon as quickly as possible and get out,
without regard to daily average, the $2 5-play 9/6 JOB might be best.
Different goals, different strokes!
One other note. The Palms coupon books change each time they send one out.
It pays to CAREFULLY read each coupon, both front and back, to see which
games/platforms qualify for each coupon, and for any exemptions, limitations, etc.
It astounds me how often really experienced players fail to do this. As for
myself, I recently bought a magnifying glass! I'm sure you've all noticed how
the print keeps getting smaller...

I considered Brian's play of $2 single play. It has merit, assuming you
stop your play as soon as you get a quad. For the mailers I want, they
just aren't available for 100%-game players.
