No one's put a play on here in ages

So I'll put one up. Palms is offering double 4 of kind if you use the
coupon from the fun books they send out. I believe you can redeem one
per day. They are worth up to $250.

So how do you get a funbook?

The fun book that was mailed to my home only had an extra 4 of a kind
payout to max out at 125 coins, not including $5 or higher
denominations.

Same as mine...if played on the $2 games, the 125 coins would equal
$250, but "one per day"...I can only wish...

I originally read the coupon wrong. It is not a bonus amount for a quad like their usual coupons. It is a DOUBLE pay of any quad, up to 125 coins (which would be $250 on a $2 machine.) So be sure not to play it on NSUD, for example, as I first almost did!!!! It is great in that you can use it on multi-line for a quad on any line.

They sent this coupon book out to only selected zipcodes so every local didn't get one and I don't think they are giving them out at the slot club desk as they sometimes have done. They did send them out to our condo complex - and thankfully we didn't have to go dumpster diving since our neighbors know we are gamblers and gave us several books!!!!

My strategy was different. I just played $2 Five Play NSU until I hit
deuces and then used the coupon.

This is a very strange funbook. Strange in that
there are differences from any I have ever seen. Most
"good" coupons have a player's name and number on them
and are non-transferable. Some funbooks are easy to
get, others have requirements such as being checked in
to a particular hotel etc. Thi one has some great
coupons that can be used by anyone that gets ahold of
the book. Mine was in my LAS mailbox. I went to last
Saturday's vpFREE lunch which I enjoyed as always. I
also learned a little more about this book. I had
aready cashed in the famous $250 coupon. At the time I
was annoyed that the attendants carried off my card to
verify things before paying me so I could not play an
adjacent machine until they returned. But it was only
a few minutes. When they say one per player, that is
what they mean. Two player VP households received only
one in the mail (or none, in some cases, apparently).
So if there are two of you, and you both want to use
the book, it requires scrounging one which many AP
folks are doing. I considered naming names, but I will
not:-)

I used mine a week ago today. I have been too lazy
and/or busy to post a trip report of the 22 day trip
to Nevada I finished last Monday.
   A preview now.
It was my worst trip ever (albeit preceded by my
best trip ever which I have posted highlights about),
I lost a little or a lot each and every of the first
17 days.
On the eighteenth day I attended a LVA member's
meet at Garduno's at the Palms. After the meet I
played VP, cashed the $250 coupon playing $2 DB, I
think. I also started off playing $2 NSUD, but
switched. After cashing that one, I reread the 4X
points for one day coupon and went to the player's
club to activate it. I went back to the same bank of
machines and played five line $2 NSUD for some time.
This game is a little above my comfort level but I hit
the deuces fairly early for my only W2G the entire
trip and quit with a decent profit, put some 16K
points on my card, I know not which whether that was
before or after the 4X.

there are three kinds of people in this world. Those that make things happen! Those that watch things happen! and those that don't know what's happening!

A friend and I each did one of the 4OAK coupons. He still has a few extra
books he may be willing to make a deal for. If you're interested, send me a
