No longer getting Sat room comps in AC after hitting a Royal

I'm Diamond Aspirations lvl 1.
I used to get most weekends free at one of the AC hotels (ballys/harrahs/caesars).

but ever since I hit a $2k royal last month at Caesars, I no longer get any Sat comped from their website from now to end of Nov.
(I don't have a host).

I usually play 9/6 ddb for 500 TC each day I'm comped in AC.
Just had to vent. :frowning:

If a host would help, recommend me one?

I don't believe it is the royal that is hurting you but rather your level of play.

With the casino closures, rooms on a Saturday night have value to the casino.

$5000 of coin-in is probably not going to cut it for a Saturday night.

500 TC at a Harrah's is practically nothing, so you're probably better off putting in the time on a penny slot. How long do you usually play per day, five hours? Try five hours on a penny slot, a penny at a time, that's minimum bet on many machines, as slow as possible, but keep a reasonable pace, there has to be some timeout period that you want to avoid. Try playing two machines at once. Harrah's gives credit for time on the machine, so that's what you're going for. Then go into the host's office and ask for a host on duty to review your play and see what you can get. It might take a while to remove the stain of being labelled a "video poker player" however. If you drink, try to visit the hosts while you're visibly drunk, that might help. If you're actually going for some TC goal, like say 5,000 TC, you should always do that in one day, then just milk the benefits till they run dry, and then repeat. Bob Dancer described the process more or less in a blog on Dotty's. The trick works at many casinos. It's much better to play all at once, then go on sabbatical for a while just collecting stuff and when the stuff runs out, repeat. This works at casinos that rate by daily average. By playing a little each day or each week, you're ruining your daily average. Better to play max and then min or none for a while, then repeat.

Quitting When I'm Ahead - Gambling With An Edge http://www.gamblingwithanedge.com/quitting-when-im-ahead You’ve heard the expression “Quit when you’re ahead,” applied to gambling. You’ve also heard, “When you’re on a hot streak, keep firing away!” These two bromides give opposite advice on what you should do when you actually hit a big jackpot. The first says ...

I have to agree that that level of play did not keep the rooms. Was this your first year of level 1? When you upgrade your play I find a delay and then some more generous offers for a bit. If you keep up the play or increase it it continues or then it just fizzles out if they don't see what they are looking for,

I got comped on Saturday night this summer, however even though I'm
about a 25,000 diamond level player I put 1000 to 1500 tier credits each session.
I also go there only 2 to 3 times a year. Maybe this is the difference.
The host I use is Alyssa Hammel she's excellent.

that was Dotty's casino chain.

After how many months should I take off before coming back to AC so that my ADT resets there?
How is CET's promo cycle period calculated?

Or are you saying just go and collect free stuff. don't play till the offers dry up?
then play again till I hit big?
rinse/repeat?

It's different for different people, depends on play history, results, age, sex, ethnicity, distance of mailing address from casino, and so on. You just have to probe and figure it out for yourself and react to any changes they put in. Bottom line, you want the casino to love you and send you lots of gifts of appreciation, so you have to figure out what turns them on, you know, what buttons to push, stuff like that. And casinos are very fickle, so what was hot last year may no longer be hot this year. Don't be afraid to ask hosts and slot managers in person, just make sure to always dumb it down, casinos are definitely not into the brainy type. And there's that general rule of "absence makes the heart grow fonder" so try not to be seen on a regular basis, you want each visit to be "a little surprise" and you don't want the casino to get the impression that you're cheap and can be bought easily.
