Subject: No DigestsI'm not getting VPFree Digests again. The situation is so bad I'm
resorting to individual messages which I hate. Strangely I am not
having problems with VP-Mail. I'm wondering if size of file could be
problem? I'm not seeing any signs that the mail to me is bouncing.
Any suggestions? Can you check with yahoo groups to see what is
happening?
Just so that AOLers don't feel inadequate, this is a problem that is common
to ISPs that try to control spam. See the following from another Yahoo group
that I belong to. On AOL I've gotten every one of their digests but Comcast
is spam blocking here. I've edited out all names & identifiers.
Another solution would be to use another ISP like earthlink or a freebie like
hotmail or yahoomail while you keep your AOL address for everything else. It
is a hassle to check email from several ISPs but you can get around it with
an email consolidator. I've just decided to live with it and log on to check
archives if it seems that I've missed anything of interest. One benefit is a
lot lower noise level...
FROM ANOTHER YAHOOGROUP:
<<Subject: Comcast & SPAM
That's not a Comcast thing in particular. It's Yahoo getting itself
put on blacklists for one reason or another. I have heard about this
before, so anyone using blacklist filters will stop getting emails, I
run a mail server that does this and every know and then, mail from
Yahoo groups get blocked.
Funny that RoadRunner is blocking emails. Their customers were at
one time, one of the biggest offenders of sending SPAM.

Comcast sounds like they're trying to get tough on email traffic
(spam too
probably). I was blocked from sending to RoadRunner two weeks ago
and had
to deal with my host provider on that (it got cleared up about four
days
later after I nailed it down for them). Some companies block
anything from
the free email providers to cut out spam. It's getting crazy but I
can
understand the issue. Is Comcast picking on you or is this a
company wide
thing they're doing?>>
