no cash back (ncb)

As I answered you previously, privately: Personal experience or
reading/hearing about it from someone else.

Does ncb also mean no food comps, no gift comps, no room comps, etc.

It would depend on the particular casino and maybe on the particular
machine, and could mean any or none of these.

I don't believe the "no cash back" at Trump Plaza was in reference to
$.25 JB ... it is reported to be true of $.25 AA.

Since Plaza cb is a direct reflection of the casino hold that the
Plaza assigns to a machine, there's every reason to expect that no
comps or other benefits are earned from AA play there -- I don't have
personal experience with this however.

Harry Porter,
Thank you for your info, however, the following info is from the vpFree
listing for Trump Plaza:
"(14) 25c/50c/$1 uprights ("Jacks or Better" on the face glass) towards
the Boardwalk end near the mass of the good VP. (Little or no cashback
on these machines)."
My experience has been in playing the above machines I have been
receiving little or no comps at all. I still get access to the Plaza
Club on a limited basis (monday thru thursday only) but I get no food
comps whereas my companions who play nonvp slots mostly get much food
comps.
My previous experience was that I played the (14) 25c uprights JoB with
progressive jackpots (which are now MIA) but. they were in the same
locationas those quoted above and I received mucho food comps and also I
had full time access to the Club.
It is frustating and unmeasurable because, as you know, Harry, there is
nothing to indicate that the machine you are playing has any type of
countdown to indicate that you have reached a certain level.
Thanks again for your valuable comments.

I apologize ... I overlooked the final note on this line when scanning
the database. I believe the cashback comment to be in error.

I'll remark that I haven't played Plaza since late October. However,
I've been in contact with another reliable player who played those
machines earlier this week and assures me things haven't changed
appreciably.

A quarter player should be earning about $4-5 in comps an hour, plus
about half that in earned cashback. (Note, that either is earned in
$5 increments so, depending on speed, you may not see anything on the
kiosk until a little more than an hour's steady play.)

I'll note that there's a charge deducted from your comp account for
Plaza Club entrance. It was $10 per person (maybe increased to $15
recently ... but I don't think so).

You can look for slot players to earn cb and comps at a rate 2x that
of your vp play within any hour (comparing 5 coin vp with 3 coin slots
at same denom), or close to 3x when comparing equal coin through the
machine (total wagers). Casinos typically hold 3x the amount of each
wager for slots than for strong video poker paytables and comp
accordingly.

Harry,
Thtnk you for valuable comments. I was at Trump Plaza on Feb 4 thru
Feb 9, 2007 and I expect to be there again March 8 thru March 10, 2007
and I will give you my impressions then.

In further answer to Harry Porter on the ncb subject, my latest
experience is as follows:
Since February, 2006 when the JoB 6-9 25c machines at Trump Plaza were
changed from progressives to non-progressives, I have been getting
little or no cb or any other comps. A friend who accompanies me and
plays non vp 5c machines with a total of 90c play gets full cb, cash
gifts, food comps. etc. In fact, on my last trip on April, 2007, I
received a $5 cb from playing the noncb machines for one hour but
nothing from playing the vp machines for over four hours.
However I still get limited club privilidges which are renewed every
six months.
