The casinos are not in the hotel business. They have hotels to make it convenient for players to stay and play. There is no sense in annoying people over trivial charges. I would recommend everyone pay with credit cards rather than cash. If everything except a phone charge is comped, it won't take the bean counters long to realize that the transaction fee is more than the total charge. Just my two cents!

Agree fully - use a credit card which will cost them a transaction
fee. Even better, be sure to use an American Express card so that the
minute your statement arrives, you can call AmEx to have them place
the charge in dispute. My guess is that you might win this. But,
even if you don't, your only trouble is making the call. AmEx takes
care of everything from that point. If the casino's practice
irritates you (as it should), irritate them right back.

This should certainly bring better offers. How to endear yourself to a casino in one easy lesson.

Bob

The bean counters will never notice something that small. Some front desk staff will not charge these amounts especially if you are a known regular, others just do what the computer tells them, there is a charge collect the money. I have had front desk people refuse a Canadian penny when paying a $1.03 cent phone tab, I gave them a $5 bill instead and that made them happy.
