nicer food at Caesars Diamond

I went to Caesar's Diamond Lounge today (Mon) at 4pm and found they now have
2 hot entrees from 4-6pm. It may be that complaints have helped a bit
(continue to complain as high up as you can!), especially with the closing of the
7* lounge. Entrees were chicken wings (spicy) and puffed pastries with
spinach. Also they now had deserts (mostly cookies and brownies) which they
didn't have last time I visited after the recent changes. Lots of pita bread and
bagel chips with several kinds of spreads. No labels on the spreads, so
watch out, some are spicy. Also tomatoes to form brushetta, nuts, and a few
other nibbles.

On weekends, check the lounge behind the baccarat pit for Chinese food and
sandwiches. This area is quite crowded however, so seating may be hard to
find. No one has ever questioned us for going there (I was prepared to flash my
7* card if questioned). Most people using it are Asian. They had a couple
of hot entrees, noodle soup (boxed), fruit, sandwiches, and congee last time
I was there on a Sat. You might find a few items like sandwiches and congee
at other times, but it seems weekends are the major time for hot food. Drink
service is spotty. Many of the Asians were drinking carrot juice and
watermelon juice. I didn't know those were popular Asian drinks. Since demise of
7* lounge, this area is even more crowded than it had been.

Are those some of those tomatoes rejected by McDonald's?

Also tomatoes to form brushetta,

I agree it's nice to have two hot entrees at Caesars, but every day it's the same thing - pita bread, chips, hummus, dips, and the hot entrees always seem to be chicken wings and pot stickers (or something similar). And they seem to run out early on the weekends.

Thanks for the advice about the food behind the baccarat tables. I will try there next time.
