Hey Y'all;

We are taking a trip to Niagara Falls (canadian side) next week
and was wondering what the Casino Picture was up there. We were
there a little over a year ago and hit the Casino Niagara, but that
was before I started to learn anything about Video Poker. And now
they have the new casino open, Fallsview Resort I think it's called.

Anyhow, where should I concentrate my gambling? I'm primarily
a .25 VP player JOB or DB. Wife likes the nickel slots. Which place
has the better plays, and which would likely offer some off season
room comps for the least amount of action.

We are staying at the Hilton...anybody ever stayed there?? So
Fallsview and Niagara are both going to be within easy walking
distance. Is the shuttle still running? Does it serve both casino's?
How are the buffets at each, we like buffets.

Are either comping drinks while you are playing?? I was a little
peeved last year when I was playing blackjack and ordered a
drink...when I lady came back I tipped her a $1.50 for it...and she
said I had to pay for the drink. I'm used to AC where drinks are free
if you are playing.

Thanks in advance for any insights....

There's nothing worth playing at the quarter level Darrin...as of a few months ago the only thing Niagara had was .50 and $1 pick em. I haven't been to Fallsview yet but the early reports I got was only $5 pick em.

The shuttles do run back and forth....Canada doesn't allow alcohol to be comped.

You might consider crossing the border and trying Seneca, only for the .25 8/5 BP and the buffet that is getting high reviews. A few hours play will get you comped.

I' agree with Neil here. The buffet is definitely good at Seneca Niagara,
but at the quarter level I've only seen 7/5 BP (in April). Has this
changed? There were some progressives that I didn't have time to check out
As far as the nickel slots go, there is a pretty good variety.

I have not been to Fallsview yet, but the last time I was in Casino Niagara
I couldn't even get on a 50-cent PE and I won't go to $ even with the
exchange. The bridges are bad now too with the heightened security in
effect. There have been some horror stories of 5-6 hour waits.

Someone a couple of months ago mentioned that Fallsview had 8/5 JOB
and 9/6 DB. Check the previous messages. I don't know what
denomination.

I usually play video poker but in Niagara I do better on regular
slots. I know its just luck but I do better on slots there than
anywere else including Vegas. Just stay away from those 9 line
nickel games.

There is 1 quarter 8/5 BP at Seneca that I have found. Also most of
the .50 BP are 8/5
