Anyone up for a summertime group meet? I know that weekday evenings doesn't work well for Marksalot. I'd be willing to try a Saturday morning meet or whatever time the group would like. Let me know. I think we should shoot for week of June 25,before everyone takes off for the July 4th holiday.
I have been trying to get Pantheon status at Greektown and it has been a little frustrating trying to figure out exactly what the requirements are. I had heard that 7500 points in 6 months will qualify you. Ok, I did that and talked to a host. He told me I was 'close' and if I played about 10 more hours in May, I should qualify. Hmmm, maybe total time on the machine matters.
One of our group members heard a host describing P club requirements and the host said that 7500 points are needed and then a determination is made based on time played and average bet. Ok, now average bet is a factor.
A couple months earlier, I talked to a different host who told me it is point based and works on a 6 month running total. Then he said that every 6 months, the slates a wiped clean and they start all over. Ok, is it total points or not and how many points in what time period?
Now I was given a temporary card and told that I could get another temporary card in June. Although the temporary card is nice ( high roller lounge is much improved) it doesn't get you the P club mailings which is ( to me) the biggest benefit.
At Harrah's, I know exactly what the requirements are for Platinum, Diamond and Seven Stars. Their bonus reward credit system is cryptic but at least the base point calculation is straight forward. I wish that the Pantheon Club requirements were as clearly spelled out.
Even though I am 'close' I'm not sure it's worth the trouble to obtain. Losses seem to sting a lot more when you are chasing an elusive, nebulous goal.
