My wife and I go to Vegas about twice a year - providing airline
pricing cooperates. We always stay downtown (usually Fitzgeralds)
and usually play BJ. BUT I am very interested in VP - have played
many times and - this interest has led me into this group. I often
feel that I may switch my preferences from BJ to VP - but to do so

require additional information. When we go to Vegas - we usually
bankroll sufficient for a few (2-3) days, and in BJ that has been

As Nudge said check the glossary on the homepage. Also spend a few
hours exploring all those links on the vpFREE homepage. It will give
you a taste of the aids available.
Any VP newbie needs to get some training software/playcharts. Pays
for itself in one trip.

Downtown, I guess you are comfortable at the Fitz? Most downtown
casino rooms are standard issue except the Golden Nugget. Each
downtown casino has playable VP, but the best game varies in each.
You will have to decide. Check the database.
Main Street Station is a favorite downtown spot to get established,
with its sister properties California and Fremont. The marketing
monthly offers are usually for 2/3 nights and some food vouchers
for .25 play. $3k coin-in a day is a good downtown goal to get
established.
Las Vegas Club has a deal going $4k coin-in over three days gets you
a couple future nights. North tower rooms are better than the
downtown average. Best single deck BJ too.
