Newbie question

Hi to all.

I'm assuming that all you guys and gals on the Reno board are as nice as the
rest of the vpFREE gang. Husband Charlie and I are going to Reno in
September, our second trip there, but the first one was 10 years ago. We
thought we'd stay at the PEPPERMILL and the SILVER LEGACY. I know I can
check the database for offerings that each casino has. I was wondering if
someone could provide me with a host at each of those casinos. We play
about 8k a day, including some nickle slots, 3 and 5 play and 50 play. We
get comped at the Palms, also Sunset, Suncoast and Sam's Town. Would that
kind of coin in get us a comp at those places? Should I call a host ahead

The 8K a day is close to a regular room comp: at Silver Legacy, the "formula" is
posted (brochure from promo desk) and 1 point = $20 coin-in, so 500 points =$10K
"daily average" = room comp. Similar, tho' not posted, at Peppermill. Hosts can
certainly bend the rules.

I sent you a Host name for each place by separate e-mail.
I think you picked two good places to play. They just MIGHT have changed a little in
ten years. Hope you can give us a trip report of some sort.

The information was, and is, great, thank you. I will definitely give you a
trip report, especially about whether or not we get the room comped on that
8k of play. if they have playable 3 and 5 play, I'm there. Annie
