Usually, multi-denomination games WILL adjust the paytable for
different denominations. eg $1 9/6 JOB becomes 25c 8/5 JOB.
On MOST VP machines, the RNG will come up with the same sequence
regardless of what game you are playing. eg 4 2's with an ACE kicker
on DDB (a premium-paying hand) would still be 4 of a kind (2's) with
the fifth card being an ACE on JOB (an ordinary-paying hand).
However, you must hit the same hand at the SAME MOMENT. A particular
hand or payoff is never "due".
In order to keep your strategy consistent, it is recommended that you
stick with the same game during a particular session. Different games
can have remarkably different schedules. Also, swithching out of
a "bad" game can bring emotion into the equation. Good GAMBLING has
no emotion involved.
Pay attention to paytables and follow the right strategy for that

However, it is also possible that the RNG is reseeded when changing
games. This would completely change the possible hands. But, as you
indicated, nothing is "due", the very "act" of changing games would
modify the timing enough to change the hands the gambler would see.
