Newbie question about BP and DBDJ

Other than progressive adjustments, 8/5 BP plays just like 9/6 jacks. (I
would ignore the two very tiny differences one of which disappears at a
very low value on the progressive.) The one progressive change to be aware
of is that a three card royal will be better than a high pair most of the
time and A10 of the same suit is playable at about 5836 coins or higher.

If you find 9-6-5 (FH, FL, ST) DBDJ this is about a 100.09% game but is
very volatile.
In double bonus games an inside straight is playable. (If the hand contains
high cards at least one must be part of the inside straight for it to be
playable.)
Two card royals with a ten (Including A10) are better than two unmatched
high cards.
QJ suited is better than AQJ10 unsuited. All other three high card
straights are better than two card royals.
A three card royal is better than all high pairs (including aces) or four
flushes.
When dealt two pair keep both unless you have aces. (You will see people
throw the second pair from kings, queens or jacks. This sucker play
probably costs more money overall than any other bad play you will ever
see. )

In my short video poker career, I've only played 9/6 Jacks. I'll be
at AC Hilton for a short while this weekend, and the database shows me
that the best games there are 9/6 DBDJ and 8/5 BP progressive. I
wanted to know if there are any simple strategy changes one can make
to save most of the EV in the switch over from JOB, while keeping
basically the same set of rules. I don't want to learn a long
detailed strategy or list of new rules, as I won't be playing there
often, but any "quick pointers" which capture most of the general
strategy changes and EV would be greatly appreicated. Also, if there
are major differences between the BP strategy and DBDJ, that would be
appreciated as well.
