During 5-day stay with son & friends for New Years, we used offers from Siena, Eldorado & Silver Legacy. We checked to see if any comps still existed & found that some at Eldorado & Siena.
Was able to use them before expiration. We already had $450 on offers to use before checkout so this boosted total to $700 to use before expiration.
Many places require a little play to keep comps active for another period, say a year, but some places comps expire after a certain period, say a year or 14 months. In such cases, additional play does not keep comps alive. It's important to know how the distinction & how much needs to be used. Unfortunately there's not much that I really want for myself so I usually end up buying coffee or some other gift item. Eldorado has very good coffee. In the past, I always bought the Jamaican blend ($25 for half pound) which never missed as a gift but they didn't make it this holiday.
