Just returned from AC after spending 3 nights and 4 days at the Trop. I charged all my meals including tips to my comped room. Upon checking out, I used my reward comps to pay for everything, including taxes, tips, meals, etc. I didn't know about using comps for room taxes and tips. I remember at the Harrah*s and Borgata, charging these to my credit card. Is paying these with comps standard procedure?
Anyway, everything was great except for the free show (The Pointer Sisters and an unfunny comedian), and the fact that they closed the buffet all day Friday, causing huge lines at the coffee shop. Thank goodness I have a VIP card, so I could go on a separate line.
