New vpFREE Administrator

Greetings from LV, Home of Positive ER Video Poker.

Effective immediately, I have retired from and am no longer
associated with vpFREE in an administrative capacity. A new
vpFREE Administrator, who wishes to remain anonymous,
is now in charge. I have known him for a long time and I am
confident that he will do a great job running the forums
and updating the databases. He assures me that no material
changes are planned and that it will be business as usual.

All future posts from the vpFREE Administrator will be from
the new Administrator. You may continue to use the
vpfree@cox.net address to send private emails to the new
administrator.

Ms. vpFREE and I wish to thank everyone who has
contributed to vpFREE so far. We will continue to
participate, albeit in a more limited capacity, since we
are avid video poker players ourselves.

Best wishes,

Retired vpFREE Administrator

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to
this group.

May you be blessed with more than royals in life!
Mark

Hi Tom,

Thank you for all the superb work that you've done in the past.
Thank you for holding this board together, with your strength,
when it appeared that it would disintegrate. NO ONE could have
done a better or more fair minded job than you have done. You
will be sorely missed.

I hope that you and Ms. vpFREE enjoy your newfound freedom. I'm
sure that the constant chore of administering this very diverse
forum, became more challenging as the years passed. You have
already done much more than your fair share.

I wish that you and Ms vpFREE will continue to grace the board
with your presence and your informed postings.

I hope that we will now give the new administrator, who should be
profusely thanked for offering to provide the needed guidance and
leadership, our loyalty and best wishes.

Many Royals to you!

Babe

Say it ain't so Tom. This really is disappointing news. You both have
done such a magnificant job for such a long time I can't believe this
is happening. Well, thanks so much for all your hard work and the
excellent way you have run vpFree. I guess I'll have to console myself
with the fact that both of you will still be participants in vpFree.

Best of luck to the new administrator(whoever he or she is, just as
long as it's not RS <grin>); you have some big shoes to fill.

Dear Retired VPFree Administrator ............... Thank you for your past work on this site. Live long and prosper !!!

I am happy to hear we no longer have to kill you before we can vote
you into the VP Hall of Fame. You and Ms. vpFree have provided a
valuable service to your fellow VP players and you have done it with
a level of generosity and graciousness exceeded by no one.

I am certain you applied the same diligence in choosing your
successor as you applied administering the group thereby ensuring the
future success of vpFree.

Thanks for all have done.

A real shocker. You and the better-half are one of the
best things that ever happened in the VP world. Your
biggest attibutes are your courage and dedication to
initiate and offer a non-profit conglomerate site for
the continuous flow of VP information and updates.
Superb job all the way. Thanks a million. Bless you
both and hope to see around cashing out those royal
flush tickets.

Best wishes,

-As a fairly new member to vpFREE I thank you for all the
time and effort you put towards making this forum a great
place to read about vp.

I mostly read the messages, because I live in Louisiana and
only have an Indian Casino to go to. I did go to Biloxi as
often as I could, but sadly that won't happen for a while.

Tom,
This sight was and will always be your "baby." Just recently at a
wedding here on Long Island a group of us were praising your's( and Ms.
VP's) efforts. May you enjoy a happy and healthy "retirement".

Thank you very much for starting this forum and running it for so long.
I am a fairly new member but have learned quite a bit from this forum.

Best wishes to all your future endeavor!

Shari

This site has been the greatest. Best wishes to the
new administrator whom has large shoes to fill. The
two attributes I think will be the toughest to meet
are the tirelsss effort to a non profit endeavor that
I find to be downright saintly and the remarkable
valancing act regarding the moderation/free speech
issue!! Early in my internet days I abandoned several
sites that degenerated into free speech flame wars.

I'm surprised by the sudden change - but I want to add my sincerest and
deepest thanks to Mr. (and Mrs.) VPFree for all the work they have
done, not only with the list, but with the VPFree Lunches, and all the
help they have given to lots of people on this list.

I hope to continue to see you at the lunches and to see your posts.
Thanks for all your good works. The new Administrator, Mr. Anonymous,
has a tough role to fill. I wish him (or her) the best as well.

- MissCraps

Thank you Mr. Retired Administrator for doing a great
albeit thankless job! All the best to you and yours!
