New VP ideas

Thanks for all the feedback on new video poker game ideas. I am now discouraged enough that I probably won't persue the ideas.

One of my ideas actually is on IGT's website as a new game, Split it and Hit it poker;

Would it be worth it to patent something like this? Is this even patentable?

By the way, the couple of 'Contact me' links on IGT bounced

Don't get discouraged too fast. I suggest you read the book Patent
It Yourself. It explains the entire process, every option and path,
etc. This will help you reduce the time and cost a great deal. You
can find a copy in virtually every library and bookstore. Lots of
people get their own patents.
