I will be visiting Tunica for the first time this July. Could you
please give me some ideas as to the best places to stay? A centralized
location would be nice, but I heard that most of the hotels have free
shuttles to the other casinos. What are some of the members favorite
casinos for video poker? Any other suggestions as to what to do while
we are there would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If you're (like me) not a high roller who normally gets suites, then I would recommend the Sheraton. Their rooms are beautiful and have a large jacuzzi tub in the middle between the bathroom and the bedroom. It's a unique design. They have pretty good VP there and the Sheraton is right there with the Horseshoe and Gold Strike, so if you get tired of playing there you can easily go over to the other two.

Best VP last trip was at the Sheraton a Harrah's property. Check
www.jackpotmagazine.com for lasest info on all MS casinos. Shettle
runs between all casinos for $1.00. If Harrahs TW member you can
usually get good room deal (comp) at the Grand. Sams Town also has
reasonable rates. Many Royals.

In my opinion, joining www.tunica-vp.com is an absolute must if
you're going to be putting in anything over a low roller amount of
coin-in. The information at this site is, far and away, more
detailed (and current) than any other site for any other gaming
jurisdiction. The $25 you'll spend to join will immediately be
gained in added EV when you find your first nugget of valuable info
on the site....and there are several nuggets for a person who takes
the time to join and peruse the various inventories.
