New Video Poker Games at G2E

I would have to differ with you on this one. From the casino's point of
view, or when only considering ER, the statement is true. However, from the
player's point of view (especially in today's very rough economic state),
"running out of money" is totally relevant. Some of the newer VP that I've been
reading about are costing an extra coin per hand or forcing a doubled original
bet. The timing for these new game introductions could hardly be much worse,
since the average player will be sitting down with a thinner bankroll than
they might have as little as two years ago.

A casino's long term expectation from a game is a function of the
game's ER and the skill of the players. An individual player's
financial status, or running out of money, isn't relevant.
