The reason is: the NFR (National Finals Rodeo) will be a-buckin' and
a-rockin' into town on---Dec. 3 thru the 12th, and the Orleans and
Gold Coast share the status of being "unofficial" hosts of the whole
thing, with twangy entertainers, western wear selling booths, and
especially tough steaks in the coffee shop. So these properties
don't go dead in early December, and management said, hay, why be
any more generous than we absolutely have to, it's bad for our
health.

Heh, here's one of the instances in which the difference between all
the different types of video poker players can be discerned.
I like 104% games as much as anybody.
I don't, however, see a lot of personal utility in wading into what's
bound to be a lot of people who are hovering around on that day. I'm
not really interested in either computing or examining an improved
strategy for something that's not going to last for more than a few
hours.
This is one of the occasional times that my bankroll wants me to do
something that I just don't really want to do.
