New Total Rewards Affiliation - gas

https://www.fuelrewards.com/totalrewards?ed_rid=PYK52R-71N7T-IR0AVS-IGCDCK-IRU9WZ-v1&ed_mid=13965704

I just received an e-mail about this new affiliation with “Fuel Rewards.” I read the fine print and can’t seem to find any downside to this extra benefit – no fees or anything for signing up. Shell gas is sometimes higher than other brands but probably not 10-cent a gallon higher. Am I missing something?

Wondering if you have to use your points when getting the gas or if you just get a discount. Anyone know?

According to the fine print you just get a discount; this doesn’t impact your Reward Credits.

worth $2 max a session less if you have a small car like me. .70$ is more like it for me and I don't fill up that often.

Thanks for the information. Von's grocery does it and I've saved a lot using their discount
