My name is Chris and moved from the East Coast to the midwest. I am a member of the Atlantic City forum as well as the Las Vegas forum. I am interested in the Oklahoma casinos and am looking for some chats with other video poker players for these nearby casinos. Not sure if there are many of you out there. lol
If so, maybe we can get a conversation going on what good plays and promotions are happening.

If you are a video poker player and looking for highest EV then Buffalo Run in Miami is your best bet. All video poker games are full pay games. There comp system is pretty weak, in my opinion, compared to the others, but is you are simply playing as an advantage player it is the best pay tables. Downstream Casino is very nice and used to have great video poker, but they have taken nearly all decent pay tables out. They used to have many progressive quarter machines that often would go over 100%. My wife and I used to play there exclusively when the jackpots would be at 100% pay and above. They have depleted nearly all of them. For high rollers they probably have one of the better comp systems and a very nice hotel and spa.
We play at High Winds Casino in near Miami, but mainly just for entertainment and comps. It’s really small, but people are friendly, food is good and they have just upgraded their comp system as of February.
Other than that, we haven’t played much at other casinos.
Thank you very much for your response and information. Buffalo Run sounds terrific and I will certainly check it out if I am ever in that vicinity. Unfortunately, I live in Texas and would not be someplace I could frequent. But, who knows? It’s good to hear that a place like that even exists.
Good luck to you and thanks again.
