New to Station Comps Any Rhyme Or Reason?

Hi. I am cutting into this conversation without reading the whole thread yet. I have a question, isn't Stations one of the ones that do the average-daily-handle thing? So if you played just a little on one day you get punished? I had that in the back of my mind and it must be from something I have read here.

Actually you dont need to play solid slots just a mixture of slots/vp. There is a fine line you have to find to get decent freeplay and decent multipliers. My multipliers range from 4 to 10X. I play 80% vp, with the other 20% pennies and dollar slots. They like to see consistent play. There is no rhyme or reason to it really.

Not sure about Station, but it you do that at Boyd, you get punished bad! Played for a couple hours a couple days when stopped in town, and also in Indiana and got downgraded from Gold to nothing!

Is the "Gold" you refer to a Gold meal comp card like Main Street Station uses? If so they do want to see a daily average maintained at Gold level if you are staying in the hotel and using the comp card. Have you talked with a host about this? A host may be able to ignore the days you were not staying in the hotel and issue a Gold card during your next stay. I would think any play you did in Indiana would have no impact.

Good Luck
