new to California casinos - slot question

Hi,

We'll be going to Southern CA. soon. Was curious about Harrah's Rincon,
Sycuan, & Barona. Mostly wondering if their slots are the regular kind
or the "funny" kind. I know there are certain class systems for the
slots and some are based on lottery or bingo. Also, I'd just like
y'all's opinion on the above mentioned casinos and does anyone
recommend any other casinos in the San Diego area? Which ones are best
for VP?

CAT

Harrah's Rincon has probably the worst paytables for VP of any of the casinos around the San Diego county area. Once I spotted a bank of 9/6 DDB games, but the next time I went back they were gone.

Pala Casino and Valley View Casino both have full pay (99.9%) Super Aces. At Pala they have an entire section of $1 single line SA next to a restaurant or snack bar at the south west side of the casino just south of the no-smoking section. They also have a two-sided bank of $.25 single line SA machines just north of the table games straight back from the main entrance. At Valley View they have three 3/5 play SA games at $.25,$.50 and $.1.00

I've seen more full pay VP at Barona then anywhere else. I have a web page that I'm in the process of building but is currently online and features most of the San Diego area casinos. I don't think I'm supposed to advertise herein, so if you want to request the URL offline from this group, I will send it to you. Wouldn't mind a critique either!

The last time I was there, Harrah's Rincon had some full pay VP in
their high limit section.

The Super Aces on those Aristocrat machines in Pala short-pay the
straight flush by 10 coins. Full-pay IGT Super Aces pays 60-for-1 on
an SF. The Aristocrats pay only 50-for-1. Not too damaging to the
overall payback, but enough so that you're under break-even with that
meager 0.1% cashback.

Both denoms are Aristocrats, so they both short-pay the straight flush.
