TJ -
Welcome to the Detroit board!
Yes, Windsor is ugly. Butt-ugly. Some of the worst VP in North
America, and that takes some doing to accomplish that distinction. Motor City is
slightly better, but it Still Sucks. Too bad, too, it used to be a good place
for quarter NSUD before the Little Caeser's family bought the joint and decided
to kill off everything worth playing.
Best games are sometimes a matter of opinion. Myself, I think the best,
as of right now, are:
Quarters - Greektown - PickEm. In the VP room adjacent to the live poker
room. Watch it, though, they've got a few short-pay PickEm mixed in with the
good stuff. Shortpays are usually easy to ferret out, they pay 10,000 coins for
a Royal on a 5 coin bet. They've also got 9/6 JoB and NSUD in the next room
over.
Dollars - Greektown again. PickEm in the same room as the quarters. Also a
damn nice bartop progressive on the opposite side of that second floor, by the
craps pits.
Quarters - MGM, just to the left of the main slot booth, on the other side of
that wall (you'll see what I mean). 9/7 DB progressives that do get positive
at times.
Best thing you can do is get familiar with the vpFree database.
Comps, I can't really help with. Don't bother eating very often at any of
these 4 places.

Hi,
I just signed on this board and did so because I plan to start playing
more VP at the Detroit area casinos. Can anyone advise me which are the
best for comps and paytables? Is Windsor casino as bad as I've been
told on their paytables?Thanks
