New Tiers for Coast Properities

There are now new tier levels for Coast properties (including Sam's
Town)

The Ruby Card is the start of it all. Ruby card holders can earn
points for cash back or comps, dining discounts and additional
benefits based on play. Membership is free and no qualifying is
required. $1 Coin-In = 1 points*.

When you earn 20,000 tier points within 90 days, you'll achieve
Sapphire status. Sapphire Card holders earn double points every day
and receive cash back or comps, special event invitations, dining and
gift shop discounts and more. Once you qualify, you'll enjoy Sapphire
benefits for six months. $1 Coin-In = 2 points*.

When you earn 125,000 tier points within 90 days, you'll achieve
Emerald status. Emerald Card holders earn triple points every day and
receive cash back or comps, gated VIP parking, dining discounts,
special priority lines at restaurants and showrooms, invitations to
exclusive events and much more. Once you qualify, you'll enjoy
Emerald benefits for six months. $1 Coin-In = 3 points*.

Receive Points For Your Play
With your card you will be recognized and rewarded at all four Coast
Casinos with the type of privileges you clearly deserve.

Use your card every time you play at Sam's Town, Gold Coast, Suncoast
or The Orleans. As you play, you'll earn points redeemable for Coast
Casinos rewards. The more you play, the more points you earn. It's
kind of like winning all the time.

As a table player you'll earn your way to a higher tier. See the Club
Coast booth for more details.

All benefits, including tier points are based on a guest's rated
level of play. Rated play varies by machine/game type, denomination,
average bet and length of play at the sole discretion of Boyd Gaming
Corporation.

* May vary depending on model of gaming device.

Does anyone know how the 90 days is computed? I was invited to the 2nd
tier meeting even though I have over 120K points in the 90 days ending
Dec. 31. It seems they must have used Nov. 30th in their invitations
which seems strange to me. I plan on checking today to see what they
say.

And by when does the $125,000 have to be played? My card expires on
July 31. If I play $120,000 from May 15 through July 31, will I go
down to the Sapphire level, assuming I didn't play from May 1 through
14, but if I then play $5000 on August 1, will I then go back up to
Emerald level? How long will it then last?

I think by now it's previous clear that the information is a little
thin. When I stopped at Sam's today the boothlings could not answer
these kinds of questions either. They indicated that some updates
were happening tonight and all would be good tomorrow ... or was that
next year ...

Will Sam's Town points be combined with Coast points? They hadn't
been as of yesterday.

From what I understood you can use your points anywhere, so in that
sense they are combined. However, tier levels are unique to each
property. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

No, tier levels are for all properties combined

OK, I clearly misstated what I meant to say. Certain rewards sounded to
me like they would be property specific. But, maybe those aren't
considered tier rewards, just rewards.

For example, if you go to their website:

http://www.bconnectedonline.com/program_overviewCC.html

It allows you to "select a property" when viewing "tier benefits".
maybe I misconstrued the meaning of this. It appears they all have the
same rewards.
