Great article! so in other words, unless you like playing full pay
Pick'Em, there's nothing at Greektown worthwhile - too bad, I like
the casino. I don't really care too much for Motor City, most of the
time it's pretty greasy and everything seems too close together.
When I do go, I usually play that progressive on level 1 and not much
else. We normally go to MGM to play the 9/7 DB - their progressive
has been up to $1,500+ a couple of times in the last month, they have
quite a few 9/7 DB machines and that's the only place I've had any
luck. Any other thoughts, good or bad, on MGM?

   Georgi,

As casinos go here in Detroit for us video poker players, MGM is
about as good as any of them. MGM has a progressive 9/7/5 DB game at
99.1%, Greektown has Pick'Em at 99.95%, (could this near 100% game be
the one that they refer to on their billboard?) but no progressives
except in the Poker Room on a lousy paying DW game, Motor City has a
progressive 16/10/4/4 NSUD at 99.73% and a few others at close to
99%. So, chose your poison, they're all deadly.

I was at Greektown again Thursday and found out that I made a
mistake in my recent article. I said that Greektown only had a 6/5 JB
game. That didn't seem right so I checked again and found out that
all of their Jacks or Better games are 8/5 at 97.2%.

I also had a minor scare there. While playing on a $2 Pick'Em
machine, I held the A,Q,K of clubs. The draw came J,9 of clubs which
at first glance looked like I hit the royal for $12,000, but alas, it
wasn't to be. But I did leave the place $300 ahead. Later at Motor
City I did hit that royal for $1,100 on DDB on a two card draw.

After a four session losing streak, I've now won on my last three.
I sure hope it continues so that old VP Pappy and I can pay off some
of our bar bills around town
I also heard Thursday at Motor City over the PA system, a recorded
message that said they too have a 100% video poker game. I looked all
over the place there and couldn't find that one either. They have
added a 9/6 JB game on Spin Poker, but that can't be it. I guess I'll
just have to ask someone next time I'm there. But, you know how us
guys are, we hate to ask.

Talk to you guys again, TM & VP
