That sure sounds like a good offer for new sign ups. I do not have a
card from the Pioneer, as I do not make it to Laughlin enough to keep
everyone happy with my play. Any idea on how long this offer will
last? My take on the Pioneer: A nice friendly environment in a
smokey casino. They have the nicest section of the river walk, and
work hard to make it look nice. Not the best VP plays in Laughlin,
but some playable games can be found. They have too many machines in
the place making it hard to navigate the casino. They added some nice
plasma TV's at the bar overlooking the river. I have never stayed at
the Pioneer, but it is the only place you can park your car right in
front of the room.

This is a new version of the sign-up program. The last one lasted a couple
of years and might have been stronger. The question mark is the scratcher for
extra-play right up front. Pioneer uses the Acres System, which allows you to
use a PIN # to access Extra-Play.

I was able to utilize double points in May towards 1000 points for their
special room program running this summer. Basically July is triple points all
month, so if the slot club counts these, 2500 points can be had for $3,333.33
coin-in. Also, Putting 3000 points anytime on a new account qualifies you for the
"Getaway" nights program (two weekday nights/month comped), $1k/visit keeps
you in good standing.

Pioneer usually is the last house to sell out for me, room compwise.

You are right about smoke. One butt can stink up the room. Sassy Sue's
Saloon usually is the most smoke-free with plenty of 9/6 Jacks in the bartops
(south end), cocktail tables and the reintalled IGT slant-tops...25,.50 and $1.

I like parking right outside my room, though this time of year leaves the
vehicle in the sun for part of the day.

Tables games- are good with the lowest vigs and best dealers too.
