Got my new Sagamore packet with the card and parking pass yesterday, and spent a few minutes reading about the benefits & comparing them to the last benefits card.
The wording has subtly changed on a couple of them, and may shed some light on the "Concert Tickets" thread that has been active recently.
Formerly, Sagamores were entitled to:
"Complimentary tickets to Mohegan Sun Arena, Private Entertainment and Connecticut Sun Basketball"
The new wording is:
Complimentary tickets to select Mohegan Sun Arena concerts, events and Connecticut Sun Basketball"
Note the introduction of the word "select" as opposed to the former, seemingly all-inclusive Mohegan Sun Arena. This may account for the fact that invitations to the top entertainers like Elton John and Rod Stewart are apparently not automatically available anymore to any Sagamore (subject to whatever total number of tickets are allocated). There is now the requirement to request them through a host who may or may not grant them according to whatever criteria have been established.
