New Player Sign ups and general info for Laughlin

Hi everyone! We are coming to Laughlin in September and staying for 4 nights for the first time (we had previously just taken a day trip from vegas) and I was trying to get some information on things to do, places to play ect...
The only players card we have for the area is Harrahs so I was wondering if any of the other casino's offer any sign up bonuses or gifts for new players? If we wanted to earn free rooms and meals at another casino besides Harrahs, which would be the best one to do that at?
Will the pool still be open at Harrahs in September? What will the weather be like in the middle of September?
Any places to eat that have good specials? (Such as breakfast specials, late night specials, ect....)
I like to keep water, snacks, beer and stuff in the room-Is there a place nearby to buy that stuff cheaply? Or should we just stop on the way down from Vegas?

I'm sure I can think of more questions but I'll stop there for now. Thanks in advance for your help!

Welcome to Laughlin...

Check out: http://www.laughlinentertainer.com/

Click on each of the casinos to see what promotions they offer. Most
offer a small sign-up gift.

For example,
River Palms offers:
http://www.river-palms.com/gaming/promotions.html

Edgewater offers:
http://www.edgewater-casino.com/04_gaming_01_accessClub.php

Just search around for more offers.

It should still be above 100 in the middle of September.

There is the outlet mall across the street from the Edgewater and
convenient stores nearby along Casino Drive for your snacks.

The river taxi is convenient. Harrahs is "up on the hill" so it is a
little way from the rest of the casinos that are connected with a river
sidewalk.

Enjoy you visit,

Was there this past week. Lots of fun.

River taxi was $4 one way or $15 all day. Great taxi captains. Water is beautiful! Take bread/crackers to feed ducks and gigantic carp while waiting for the taxi to arrive.

We had the best sign-ups and luck at the Edgewater and the Colorado Belle in that order.

We found the best VP at the Pioneer.

Harrahs pool will still be open. Onyx stone massage in their spa is a must if you like that type of thing. Didn't do very well with their gambling. The Range has excellent but very expensive fine dining.

Loved the outlet mall--we love to shop.

There is a tour offered to London Bridge. There are also jet ski rentals available. Too much for us but others looked like they were having a blast.

Hope this helps -- have a great time!
