New Player Promos.

How much is the loss rebate for the Tropicana?
The website says $200, but I thought it was
$500.

Aside from the Palms and LVH, are any other
casinos running $200 or larger new player
loss rebates?

QZ

LVH?? Didn't know they had one.

The real key is the time frame. Unless you are a local or close, next month rebate is not that helpful.

The Cosmopolitan has a $100 promo - I went there yesterday to try it out. It can be played on any machine without a progressive. This eliminates bar VP since it looked like they were all progressives at the bars.
The feature of this promotion, according to the boothling I spoke to, is you do not have to be a new member. The promo is good for everyone but can only be used one time. I did not have a loss so I did not redeem (not complaining about this!)
I was told this $100 loss does not have to happen your first day, any day would be OK to take advantage of this, so long as the promotion is ongoing.
This is different from other promos I've done in the past, where not only did you have to be a new sign-up, but the $100 offer was good only on that first day.

The Cosmo has very easy drink comps.
I've been able to get top shelf martinis comped without a problem.
Drink quality varies a little from bar to bar since each bar has its own specialty. If you want to get a beer while playing VP, go to Book and Stage. If you want a fancier drink while playing VP, go to Bond.

Take Care,
