My husband and I are going to New Orleans & Biloxi Nov.2 thru Nov.6. Southwest
is having a great sale right now from Chicago. It will be our first trip there
and we would appreciate any info. on gambling, attractions, dining, or anything
else you would like to share. We will be staying at Harrahs' properties. I've
read before on this blog that the Riverside Hilton in New Orleans is quite nice.

*a few nice things about the riverside hilton: it is much larger than
harrah's, so you almost never have to wait for a room, no matter how early
you arrive; it has two pools--harrah's has none; ask for river view; the
streetcar which goes along the river down to the french market, is right
outside the hilton's door; the shops and river walk are right across the
trolley tracks.
