Welcome to our group!

In answer to your questions:

1. VP takes interactive thinking to play well, slots rarely take any more
than pushing the buttons. If your wife just wants to be entertained by doing
her gambling without a lot of thought, then that's OK but you're unlikely to
convince her otherwise. Hang in there, she might change her mind.

2. DDB is a wild ride, the ups and downs (a.k.a. "variance") are a lot
rockier than tamer versions of VP. Any game which features a significant number
of larger jackpots will also short-pay on the lesser and more common results.
You're much more likely to either win or lose big on DDB than a game with
lower variance, such as JoB or BP.

Hello,
I just joined the forum a few weeks ago. Very excited as I love VP and
enjoy the forum immensely. Travel to Vegas from Florida about 6 times a
year and frequent the new racinos in Broward County. I have few
questions:
1.How can I get wife to be interested in VP. She loves to play regular
slots, but dislikes VP. Last week she saw me hit a Royal and decided to
play a few hands. She hit quad Aces on DDB. I thought she would be
hooked, but no, still likes Wheel of Fortune and the like.
2.If you play almost perfect DDB why do I either win big or lose big?
Why can't I break even sometimes?
