New Majestic Player Card

Did you get a mailing indicating your new card level before you picked it up? I had the Premier card but suspect I may not have given them enough play. I will check this weekend. I maintained a Diamond card at Harrah's but East Chicago is now a total vp wasteland (Except when the 25c progressive is high enough.) I wonder if the same situation that existed with the old Premier Card exists with the new cards. The equipment would only read the regular card. The purple card was only for show.

I picked up the new card on Tuesday and played some Multi-Strike
afterwards. Discovered an anomaly that will need to be corrected on
the next visit. Neither the Club Majestic nor the Star card results in
a realtime display of points earned during that session. I put the
card in the reader and get the "Hello Joe Player" message as usual.
Then "Good Luck" pops up, but that's it! No subsequent display of
points earned! Any theories?

Wife and I received our new cards in the mail today, had been Premier

situation, recalling the letter announcing the new cards mentioned VP
points would be reduced.

Have not given them much play lately.

I received a letter explaining benefits with a small cash offer if I picked up the new card this week. I went from Premier to Star. This does not surprise me since I gave them very little play last year and have even stiffed them a few times. Unless I am very mistaken, the new card is both a slot card and status ID, unlike the old 2 card system. Play was visibly tallying points a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday, regardless of what card was being used, points were not visible on the card reader.

I also received the new promotional letter and it looks like it's styled after the Harrah's mailing. If this is the only monthly mailing it may be a disappointment to less frequent visitors. I was receiving two $25 vouchers (recently taken down to $15) per month in bonus cash. The new mailer gives 4 $5 vouchers to be picked up at different times in the month. A bit over a year ago it wasn't unusual for me to collect $35 in bonus cash and $60 plus in weekly bounce back during a visit... and easy comps to boot. So much for progress;-)

The new monthly mailing must depend on level of play, as I received 4x $100 vouchers and a buffet coupon.

Yup, that's the behavior I got. I'm planning to be there tonite and
this matter will definitely be resolved. And they'll be issuing credit
for Tuesday nite's play, like I know they will.
