We're heading out to vegas tomorrow for some serious VP and one of our stops
was going to be Strat, mainly to keep those mail offers coming.

But, from what I'm sensing, I have to ask if it's still worth it?

I saw somewhere that it takes $8000 in daily action to get a room comped.

Are they backing off on the room offers enough that we shouldn't bother
going there but maybe the Hilton instead?

Since those excellent VP games are gone (9/7 and 10/6) is it even worth it.

thanks all

I got a summer room for 3 nights for a lot less than $8k a day. May
be tighter in Fall.

The new system at the Strat doesn't work on daily averages, it works on tiers that are achieved for the year (like at Stations or at Harrah's). They still mail good free room offers for what seems to be fairly small play.
Big plus at the Strat is that you can earn points at Arizona Charlie's, which has a much better variety of VP.
Your slot card will now show you 2 totals, comps and cash back.

A.P.

There were some pretty good Bonus poker machines there last April.
Instead of the usual 8/5 paytable, they were 8/6 and 9/5. I havn't heard
anything about then since then. Dick.
