NEW link for Entertainer-ONLINE!

I was surfing around the Mohave News weblinks,
and THIS weblink led me to a FULL e-edition of this week's
"Laughlin Entertainer".

Pretty cool!

Now you might be able to scan thru the weekly mag,
prior to the weekend of your trip, assuming it's uploaded by Tues or Weds. of the week that it covers....

ENJOY!
Martin.

I have used this feature several times prior to trips. They call it the 3-D version, and it has been functional for more than 6 months. On a totally different subject, I got an unusual offer in the mail from the Riverside. I have not put my slot card in any machine in more than 3 years, but I have been getting "offers" in the mail about every 6 months for discounted rooms- no big deal. My latest offer was for 3 free nights and $50 in free play for May. Looks like they are trying to bring back some of the old customers they lost? Too bad I am unable to use this offer, but I may try to get back to Laughlin next month.

Cruising to Laughlin from Vegas this weekend, found that the speed limit is posted 75, north and south of Searchlight. Praise the lord. Watch for 65 zone at Calnevari.

Heading down that way next month, burberry. Thanks for sharing the info.

And stick to the 25 mph through Searchlight. I usually see a radar cop
there!

The long-running 7777 promo is still there (3x pay for quad 7s), but it is no longer available on ANY 8/5 bonus machines, only on 7/5 machines in the non-smoking area and near the cashier cage. The 8/5 machines in the high limit area, which used to be eligible for this promo, are still full-pay - but no quad 7s bonus. Sorry if this is old news, it was new (and disappointing) to me.

VP Admin added your comment to the Trop page on motherboard's vpfree2 database.
There's a link in "news" on revenue decline including:
"...Based on the most recent market data available, the Laughlin market ... experienced a 7.3 percent decline in casino revenue in the second quarter," the company said in a regulatory filing..."

The press release implied that it's road construction fault so Icahn is reducing machines/tables to match the reduce amount of action. He can blame road construction but once the work is finsished what/who will be blamed next. High snowfall?

Yeah, no way they'll say "theoretical gambling returns were decreased and revenues followed". The casino think if someone is stupid enough to walk in the door, they are stupid enough to believe the lies they tell.

Thanks for the update, although it is unpleasant. The Ramada was one of our favorite places, now it's going to be tough to come up with a reason to visit.

Can anyone verify if the $1 9/6 machines still exist at the bar at Avi? I thought they were gone...

I checked a couple of months ago and the bar machines were all downgraded.

No 6/9 Jacks or better remaining.
