Of course I remember. Actually it was February 5th. We met up in the
Diamond Lounge that Super Bowl Sunday morning. My notes state I did a Harrahs-L
"Cash for Gas" offer that Sun/Mon. That was a unique party in the CB buffet.
Though I think I spent too much time in the Boiler Room sampling the homebrew
flavors beforehand.
My favorite CB comp play used to be the scratcher cards that they handed out
for cashing checks or playing crummy BJ. I used to garbage can dive, look for
them laying around games between the cage and the $1 single deck game. The
value was the weekly second chance drawings where they picked 20 duds and sent
you a letter. You just put your name on the back of the dud. Winners got
2x$25 comp vouchers good for three months. I scored several times, Mom did too
over the years.
Upstairs CB food- one of them is closed Mon/Tues and the other Wed/Thurs. I
can never remember which one is which. Mississippi Lounge is open at noon
seven days, though that menu is limited. I could see snarfing some peel and
eats and a bowl of chowder though.
