i'm 50+, not offended by sin city sexuality/sensuality/soft porn/whatever
(and am in fact relieved by the non-restrictive environment it creates, a
relief from what is in my opinion the current moral self-righteousness that is
permeating our culture), was one of the first to be tattoed at palms last spring
(my first and only tattoo, at the age of 58), might have purple hair if i
had enough hair to color, enjoy body parts of men and women, have creaky knees
and frown lines, loved queen's music in 'we will rock you' as well as all of
the art exhibits, cry when i hear 'abba' as well as when i watch bellagio's
fountains----and still manage to play enough to warrant rfb at bellagio and
caesar's. winnie, friend of let's-hear-it-for-fitr-jean (and i say, 'go
girl'), let's fly the colors of diversity and realize that you can't categorize
individuals by their age group. at least i hope not, or this 59 year old who
still thinks of himself (except for his body, alas) as 35 is in deep trouble.

I don’t think the 50+ crowd will be seen in the lines to the late-night
clubs and in general, they’re offended by all of the soft porn in the current
advertising. Since our population is aging because of the baby-boomers, the
audience who would find this approach appealing would seem to be shrinking.
