New Jean Scott Frugal Fridays Column
Wonderful article, Jean. Back in the Spring, I submitted two
columns to the Sun Herald about this horrible game, 6:5 single-deck
blackjack, and in the 4 years I've been writing for them, that was
the first time they ever refused to print one of my columns. The
editor said the tone went beyond my usual "sass" and was just a
little too hateful. I forwarded copies of the columns to Henry, and
he didn't think they were so bad. Maybe the paper was afraid of
angering the casinos, its major advertisers.
But, anyway, the more we get the word out about 6:5 SD BJ, the
better off everyone will be. Except the casinos.
The problem is that there are too many gamblers out there who just
don't read or bother educating themselves.
