Thanks for the options to you and all the others.
We thought about Barbary but many people suggested to stay away from
Coast
at together to sort of "not put all our eggs in one basket."
Overall people seem to like: LVH, Stardust and possibly Strat.
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Terribles or is that because of the
removal
of anything really playable?
We've been leaning towards Stardust due to location primarily, but
LVH might
be very cool to try
I've been to all 3, and the LVH is definitely the most 'upscale' of
the 3. However, food comps take lots of play.
You'll probably get more comps for your play at the Stardust.
Stratosphere is stingy for food comps to .25 vp players (unless you
gain a host by former avg. of $6500/day. New club and rules now,
though, as it has merged with Ariz. Charlies).
I like the LVH for their mailed offers. Stardust is probably more
liberal with those offers, once established. The LVH, though,
combines some pretty good shows/headliners with it's room offers.
Terrible's - Similar to motel 6, in my opinion. (Remember - this is
the former 'Continental'). Also - Unless slot club booth has
improved, there can be a long wait (at times) to redeem coupons for
multi-points/logo items/food/soda/beer/ etc.
They do have good coffeeshop specials (cheap eats), but otherwise
I'd rather be at a nicer hotel.
Martin.
