Subject: new home base casino in LV

Hi ya'll. I am currently a diamond player at Harrahs so its easy
to always go to Rio or HLV but I would like to find another group to
give some play looking as always for room comps. I am going to be
in LV for a week starting May 9 so will have time to establish a new
base. I play mostly 50 cent JOB. Also like to play quarter DB. We
usually rent a car for part of our stay so can get to locals casinos
easily. I have played at most of them in past trips but usually
don't concentrate on one enough to get anything back.

What are your suggestions for the easiest room comps at a reasonably
decent place -- I don't require luxury, just clean rooms with decent
services and most important: good VP

Bob and I are in our early 60's so not looking for "youthful scene"
of any kind.

feel free to email me privately.

Many thanks

carole

You don't mention the new stable mates of Rio/HLV. Caesars, Ballys, Paris
and the Flamingo now are Totally Rewarded. Online you can just go to the
reservations page and plug in dates without an offer. Some folks (not me) have been
surprised by their options at the new HET properties.

Now if you want to establish yourself at a new chain I think Main Street
Station downtown would meet your needs. You can play the games you mentioned
(scan the database) along with Deuces Wild. Self-parking is fairly painless just
north of the casino. Valet works too.

The ongoing "Score with Four" is a fun promo that adds .2% to the bottom
line. The food choices are decent to great. My current offers are for two
weekday nights/double points/$20 in food. I gave them a $10k day a few years ago,
but average $2k day over say the last 18 nights.

Others get silver/gold cards with heavier play to cover food at all the
downtown Boyds.

They recently redid all the rooms too.

As a Diamond, I recently got a hugh two room suite in CP's
unrenovated Forum tower for five nights. The furniture was a bit
dated, but the two master baths, each with a hugh sunken whirlpool
tub, were amazing.
