need more info but,assuming your green as grass
go COMPLTETLY thru this web site ,check evrything,espically the links
&cross directory for what casino has what games & at what level &
stratergy charts for games (need know where you are playin & stayin &
for what coin)
go to wizardofodds.com ,click on video poker and you find statergy
links for JOB & FPDW simple & advance, I perfer these as they use
words instaed of numbers to rank hands, check im out, you will see
what i mean. PRINT & USE stratergy tables at all times!!!! use the
simple stratergy, less mistakes.
the links on this site (vpfree) have other sources for statergy cards
including one that list hands using cards ,[Jeff Loptich ? i think]
when you come back hooked(& u will) you will need to get either
Winpoker,(bob dancer) or FrugalVP (jean scott) software for practice
on your computer, both have training modes & Frugal will print out
stratergy charts also. I prefer winpoker but both will work.
REMEMBER: always use stratergy charts, always use slot card, always
eat at the Golden Gate casino's diner downtown ; )
you have lots of research to do so get to it!!!!!

Use the VPFree databases, accessible from the home page, to find the
best VP opportunities at the hotel you'll be staying in, as well as
nearby properties.
Before you arrive, learn one or two games thoroughly (using VP
software if you have it).
Read archived messages and writeups on the database to determine
what the best casinos are for mailed room offers, so that when you
return you can get discounted or free rooms.
As far as which game to learn, most people start with 9/6 JOB as
it's very easy to learn (even though it does not offer a positive
return). Somewhat harder are FPDW and FPJW, although learning them
is worth it because these games give you a small edge. 10/7 DB
(FPDB) is essentially a break-even game but is VERY hard to learn.
Bring at least $500 if you are going to play quarters, and be
prepared to lose all of it if you have a bad weekend. (In other
words, don't play money that it would significantly bother you to
lose.)

products link for Winpoker and download the free shareware Jacks or
Better game.

Dollar blackjack is scarce, if not impossible to find nowadays.
Staying at the Tropicana does afford you good access to two low
min. bet blackjack games. They aren't the best games in town but if
you want to learn the game and minimize your bankroll they will do.
The closest to you is the Klondike just a few blocks south of the
Tropicana, not sure what the min. bet is now but last I was there it
was like $2 later in the evening.
The other is the Boardwalk a few blocks north of the Tropicana, If
you go here get a picture of it because it won't be there much
longer. They have some $3 tables during the day and late at night.
If you are there after Midnite check out the Prince tribute, if you
did'nt know better you would think you were seeing the actual Prince.
