Just when I thought the Colorado Belle had exhausted all possible hats
and headgear, I see they came up with a new one. The Sombrero. Yes,
the prize patrol will be looking for a Sombrero this time. I don't know
why but this wacky hat promotion makes me laugh.I just picture a suit guy just laughing at his power to get people to
wear something that they would never at home. I also have to question
the sanity of some people that I see wearing these hats at all the
other casinos. Do they really think the Sombrero prize patrol is on its
way down to the River Palms?I got my laugh for the day.

According to the Laughlin Entertainer online edition this will only happen
this Saturday for the Viva! Laughlin celebration. You only need 20 lifetime
points to get your hat, which is different.
What used to get me is those month long promos where the prize patrol only
did weekends, but people wore their silly hats during the week.
