Harrahs Vegas buffet is now reopened. The decor is new and very nice -
similar to the Rio buffet. The price has gone up and is now $12.99 for breakfast
(that seems high!), $18.99 plus taxes for dinner. The dinner price includes
unlmited wine or champagne. The food was pretty much exactly the same as
the old food, or at least not too much different. Hot crab legs (not Alaskan
king, but good) as well as cold crab legs and cold peeled shrimp. Also lots
of soup, Italian station, Mexican station, Chinese Station, etc. Newly added
was a good selection of gelato along with many toppings (better supply of
these than at Rio). We noticed the crab rangoons were missing. Bananas foster
and fresh fruit (including apples) were still there. Seemed like the desert
area was a bit smaller, but still with many choices plus the added gelato.
Service as usual was excellent. Diamond, platinum, and 7 star members
should use the separate entrance for faster admission and no line. You can swipe
your card for comps.

Re King crab -- the Wynn has big king crab - but cold only. Price is about
$30 per person plus tax. Go early to avoid line (4-5pm is a good time).
Excellent food - especially the deserts which are the best in a buffet in town.
