New guy question

Hi All, I have been practicing, practicing, 9/6 JoB , I am just wondering if I could (or should) use the same strategy if I can only find 8/5 s .Also can I use the same srategy for Bonus poker, heade to A/C, Resorts.,on Sunday fora few days.
All this reminds me when I was standing in Grand Central Termanal In New York when a young lady came up to me and asked me how to get to Carnigie Hall, I said "I've been waiting 20 years for some one to ask me that" PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE.

Hi Paly,

For perfect play ........the strategies would not be exactly the same. Changes in the paytable will call for changes in the strategies. Check out the following article by Bob Dancer. Hope it helps to answer your question.

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with any intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways -- Chardonnay in one hand -- chocolate in the other -- body thoroughly used up , totally worn out and screaming " WOO HOO, WHAT A RIDE"

Paly,
The only proper strategy for 8/5 Jacks or Better is to leave or find a better game. The return for this game with perfect strategy is 97.3%. The 9/6 JB strategy will return a theoretical 99.16% for 8/5 Bonus, (a much better choice than 8/5 Jacks).

You can use JB strategy on 8/5 bonus poker without any substantial loss in
ER.
