New games at MS

Spinpoker like triple play, 5 play etc. should use normal single line strategy.
Note: 25c Spinpoker is $11.25 per hand thus is more expensive the $1 OEJ. Because each of your draw cards usually affect three hands (2,5,2 for the middle reel.) this game is more volatile than Ten Play.

I played it extensively yesterday and got thrashed. At $.10 you get
Illinois Deuces whereas at $.25 you get NSUD (an important distinction
from FPDW which is not found in midwestern casinos). Strangely enough
I did very well at Illinois Deuces for which I had to recollect the
non-obvious plays, but got clobbered at NSUD which I play error free.
I was wondering if there's an optimal Spin-Poker strategy but I doubt
it as each line is equal in value unlike MultiStrike or other games.
No Royals and I hit 4 Deuces only once. The thing that irked me the
most was the inability to hit 5 of a kind after being dealt 4 of a
kind. I didn't actually compute the multi-trial probability using the
binomial equation but I'm quite certain that failing to hit as often
as I did was hugely anti-percentage. In fact hitting anything at all
at NSUD proved to be a rare occasion. After this debacle I retreated
to the familiar terrain of OEJ where I actually won, but not enough to
offset the Spin-Poker NSUD pasting.

The spin poker is full pay at the .25 level, just like Joliet's $1

(Harrah's Joliet for almost a year had one 25c game with full pay
games the other three were about 1% worse. They wised up but retained
the good paytables in 2 dollar games but $45/hand is too much for me!

Something I meant to investigate was the line selection in Spin-Poker.
It seems via the panel button that lines played can be added
incrementally from 1-9. So one has the option of how many lines to
play but not which lines. Something I haven't tried is selecting
individual lines via the touch screen.

And yes, I believe I saw Aces as one of the offered games. One thing I
meant to do but forgot was to check if at the $.10 denomination
anything was offered that had a better paytable than Illinois Deuces.
I doubt it but it doesn't hurt to check.
