This is probably old news but I
saw 11 full pay machines(.25 and up) not listed in
the data base with Jokers, deuces, DB, DBB.
8 uprights were ringed around the tree by the
Mexican restaurant and 3 slant tops were by
the front door. I will send the details
and pay tables to VP2.
New FP Machines at Fiesta Henderson
Yes I said it! Since May, nothing offered from Harrah's Laughlin is worth making the trip. I made it clear to my host, Janet Duffy. She never bothered to reply.
So, week after week we receive their offers. First, we do the wow factor. Then we do the math. The offers go directly into the paper box for recycling.
We also get some offers from Vegas properties, Since we live in Vegas, some are no brainers to use. Do we play much anymore, NO!
As Harrahs continually loses money, why are they refusing to change their marketing dynamics? In this really horribly tough economy Harrah's has not made a more concerted effort to woe us to bad video poker pay tables. The ammenities have decreased again drastically. For our out of town guests, hotel rooms are cheap enough to reserve seperately. Is Apollo Management looking to sell Harrah's?
I wonder which casinos are making better efforts to Diamond players? I also wonder if my fellow VP players will achieve their existing status at their favorite casinos? I've seen many of VPFREE and HARRAHSCASINOS members state their displeasure as well..
Somebody, tell me if I'm wrong.
As in the movie, "Wargames", Joshua stated, "The only winning move to make is not to play at".

Les, I'd say the biggest reason why Harrahs continues to operate in that manner is because so many players say they won't play on their crummy pay tables but they still play way beyond the requirements for 7STARS status. They are probably financing those of us who mean what we say. I've left that company in my dust long ago.

My thoughts; if they stick it in your face reducing pay tables, what are they doing to the slots? Just seen in high limit room; 7/5 JOB $5. I have seen lots of examples in the past of casinos going down the drain then upgrading payback tables on vp in a last ditch effort to get some players. I wouldn't care if 1/2 of them go belly up. Thin the herd is good. I'm sure a few upstarts will show up and they might even discover every player is worth something.
Just seen a great reduction of pay tables in local racino. Most players didn't have a clue about change. However, they are aware they play less on the same $$ they play. Even the dumb players ane not as dumb as the casino thinks. Some of the games are structured so bad. The casino should hang their head in shame!!
I don't play the vp except some nickle (5 cents). I have more fun playing Win Poker. I will bet a horse and eat dinner at the track. Horse betting ain't so good either.
Your right about Harrahs. Not much there for me either.
Cheers...Jeep

i am staying 3 nites at rio playing 8 hands 8/5 job to put 1 point $10 coin in playing fpdw at palms. running out my comps and getting as many comp rooms as i can get away with until they cut me out. harrahs at on time was ok 9/6 job nsud 10 play 9/6 job 25c which would allow a player to run off points easily and triple bonus points at the old level the expected cost of diamond card at nsud was about $270 per year, but food comps would make it positive rooms were a bonus now everyone should follow my lead and slowly give them the boot
