We just received an EW offer of 5 free nights and double points up
to $150. Played there one day this Summer put through a little more
than $10K.
Its good we got the offer from the EW. Our next trip to Laughlin
will be there or Harrahs. We were regulars at RP for the last year
at over $20K action/day. Unfortunately, the RP marketing department
blacklisted us for "complaining" to Casino Host about not getting
bounceback this summer. RP marketing stops sending coupons to East
Coasters for the summer and will not respond to special requests
(although casino host did nicely respond).
We liked the EW but some posts have said the hotel rooms are not up
to par. Neither were the RP's but the Golden Nugget rooms were good.
So, our next trip to Laughlin will probably be at Harrahs going for
that one day Diamond Club attempt.
Problem is the Las Vegas offers have been great the past few months!

The better rooms at the EW had been in the Sedona tower. They are similar to the RP. I think they are better (not great) than the regular rooms at EW and CB. We have only stayed at EW, CB, and RP though.
