For some os us traveling from the east coast, it would have helped if there was more advanced notice of this change.

Sheesh! I think they just changed it around 9/26. It was published in

LVA Lite the following week and I sent it to the list as soon as I
received it. The original release said reservations weren't going to be
taken until after 10/1 anyway.

Scot

Scott,

I'm sure you'd understand that we were looking for the
best airfares and hotel deals. Airlines are more
restrictive and less accomodating with their airfares.
So we had to book early. Most US cariers are having
major cuts in service starting Nov 1. Plus, many of
the casino's do not have great weekend rates. So, we
were fortunate to find one for the 23nd and 23rd that
does.

Gang,

I pretty much concur with the voting of the best
locals casino's. Although I didn't do well at BC,
gave $10,000 play on $0.25 and lost about $500 over
two full days, the staff was very pleasant and
accomodating. Too bad the inventory is old. Keys on
the bank of DW by Seattle's Best stick.

However, I did ok at Palms, 3 hours of play and was up
$200. And did really well at Suncoast, 3 hours of play
and was up $1400.

I played well on DDB and I believe loose deuces (hit
my first royal in 3 years). This machine payed 5
coins on a straight, 15 coins on a flush and 20 coins
on 4 of a kind. Plus it payed 100 coins on differnt 5
of a kind. There was a bank of 10 machines. Does
anyone know if this machine was full pay?

I read Rob Singer's article. Either I'm too tired,
drunk or he's starting to make sense. LOL

Be back in 6 weeks for some more house hunting. Boy
is Summerlin really shaping up. At least I can go to
Comdex for a day on 11/22.

No problem. At first it just sounded like you were blaming me for not
posting it sooner.
Scot

Amen. I already booked my trip to Vegas during the original dates. Other things will be keeping me from going in January.
Count me in for the November VP free lunch.
   Blessings and royals to all.

Hopefully the free lunch will be planned around that weekend. We look forward to meeting some of you who have booked that weekend as well.
