The first part of the article, BD recylces std advice that you see in the
sports betting rags all the time but it's a message that must be repeated as
there's new sucker born every minute.
The second part of the article about drawings is a valid complaint about how
many drawings are run to increase traffic to the detriment of heavy players
like BD. For out-of-towners in general, I think drawings should be avoided as
locals do have several advantages that are hard to overcome such as:
--ability to earn many more tickets
--while playing during the most favorable multi-point times
--and clipping coupons or taking advantage of other promotions
--and having the logistical advantage of being able to attend most or all
drawings.
Unless you stay for a week or more, you can't use your tickets in the most
advantageous way such as at the very beginning of a drawing, spreading it out so
that your tickets are used efficiently and choosing the slower days of the
week in which to participate.
